Lufupa Tented Camp is situated at the confluence of 2 major rivers in the Kafue National Park, the Kafue River and the Lufupa River. A mid range option in Kafue National Park this camp is often visited by lion and leopard so you are right in the heart of the action. The Meru style safari tents all have ensuite bathrooms and a small sitting area out front with views over the river. The communal area has comfortable chairs on the decking and a small plunge pool overlooking the river.

One of the favourite activities offered from Lufupa is their exciting night drives, as the camp's experienced guides are adept at locating leopards.

However the focus of Lufupa is the Lufupa and Kafue Rivers and the thick riverine vegetation that fringes these water courses. Further away are diverse habitats such as floodplains, miombo woodland and open grassy areas called dambos. There are resident prides of lion and leopards are often seen. Wild dogs are occasionally sighted.
