Mapula Lodge is situated in the North Eastern area of the Okavango Delta, just outside the Moremi Game Reserve. This is a private area thus being able to offer a full spectrum of activities including mokoro, game drives and walks. The north eastern region of the Okavango Delta offers a remote and private safari experience. The area supports a huge variety of animal, plant and bird life. Elephants are abundant in the area as well as buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, hyena, jackal and a variety of antelope, including red lechwe. The birdlife is prolific and varied, ranging from water birds to shy forest dwellers.
