Description

Kapinga Camp is located in Kafue National Park. It is unigue from Shumba and Busanga Bush Camp in that it is located on an island within the Busanga Plains. Animals that are unique to the area include the Puku and also Lichtensteins Hartebeest. Large herds of roan are also encountered. There are also three prides of lions in the area in addition to cheetah. Leopards are not that common due to the open plains. Leopards prefer riverine woodland areas. Unique birds incude the Racket Tailed Roller.
