Description

We spent an afternoon in Lake Manyara. I have never seen so many elephants, at close range, as I did in Lake Manyara.
We never saw the famed tree climbing lions of Lake Manyara, but I can see why they climb trees here: to keep out of the way of all the elephants.
I was staying at Gibb's Farm. Lake Manyara is a comfortable 40 minute drive from the farm and the park can easily be visited for 3-4 hours, which is sufficient.
