Kanana Camp (Setswana for 'paradise,') is centrally situated in the Okavango Delta, deep amongst grass covered islands, encompassing a necklace of islands on the Xudum River. Nearby the camp, Kanana has its own airstrip.

The camp comprises eight large twin-bedded safari style tents with teak decking and private en suite bathroom, built on plinths, overlooking the Delta. The common facilities of the camps are also built up on stilts overlooking these floodplains. The area is an excellent walking and mokoro area.

Activities at Kanana include 4WD game drives, night safaris, mokoro trips and sometimes motorboat excursions. Kanana has some very experienced mokoro (dug-out canoe) polers and a wide variety of channels and open lakes to explore. You can also take a rod out and try your hand at fishing if you like!
