Other details	I am awfully in love with Africa ... and with my girlfriend.
My occupation is	Used to be an forester,ranger,adventurer,overland driver,tour leader,freelance journalist ... now just plain travel expert,cashing in on my knowledge of mostly Africa and Middle east. Not that I am complaining ,its just being stuck in London is not my idea of fun.
My School	Cant remember,it has been so long ago.
Favorite Movies	Lawrence of Arabia,Godfather,Lord of the Rings ... there are too many good ones.
Favorite Music	Anything with rhytm, depending what time of day it is. U2 in the morning ,Miles Davis before I go to bed.The range is wide.
Favorite Books	It has to be English Patient by Michael Ondaatje. Its a powerful poetry,celebration of desert and those who love it. Me included. The most recent ones include Dreams of my Father (Barack Obama),good read if you are heading to Kenya, Reluctant fundamentalist by Mohsin Hamid, Grass is signing by Doris Lessing. But I have to say , I have just finished book by BBC's John Simpson called Not Quite world's end and I have been quite blown away by his honesty and humanity. Read this book if you think the world is heading nowhere.....
